McNeese State University offers the BM and the BMED.  As a performance major, violinists are offered a variety of performance opportunities which include chamber music performances, solo recitals, regional symphonies, mock auditions, and competitions.  As an education major, hands on experience in the orchestral classroom is provided right away with experienced, master teachers serving as mentors.
